Baiting Trump: Media Implants Revolution into Society Through Fashion

These stories about the death of television and the triumph of the Internet are already beginning to become forgotten, although sometimes there are still some relapses. Meanwhile, the United States nowadays is giving us an example of how powerful television is if it consistently pursues its own line. Now, four channels that the US president described as "enemies of the American people", I’ll remind you, these are CNN, NBC, ABC, and CBC, provided such a dense criticisms of Trump that they practically pinned him down. He is not only unable to raise his head on the subject of relations with Russia, but he is afraid to even say the word, and for the members of his team any mention of Russia is already a big political risk. And the antidote for the ongoing baiting, apparently, hasn’t been found by the White House yet. Probably for two reasons. A) Trump chose his team out of stars that have never worked together, that is, these people don’t know each other well. B) Trump invited them to perform and win in a sport, which they have never participated in. It’s called public service at the highest political positions. For Trump himself, there were many pitfalls in this area, hence, his first decree failed, and there were losses among his staff. There are leaks to the press through Obama's middle management "moles" still working in the administration, foreign policy efforts have been unsuccessful, and the defense budget is planned to be overrun and it is not clear what for if no new national security policy has been established in the United States yet. There are a lot of arguments with the TV channels, and, therefore, with the rest of the press, because, like it or not, in modern media, television remains the leader. The Internet, as it turned out, only strengthened television and expanded opportunities for well-established, experienced television editorial staff, who work with confidence on the web as well. As a result, we are seeing a giant battle in the US, the oligarchic press against the US President and his new administration. In the context of these unprecedented deep social divisions in the US, I must say that this process is dangerous. Irreconcilable radical liberals, as strange as that combination sounds, de facto don’t recognize the results of the presidential elections and are struggling to rock the boat. And to such an extent that it is unclear where they will stop and whether they will stop at all. The hatred between the American people and the number of firearms they have is a disturbing combination. Of course, the project is well-financed, and spin doctors are working to overthrow Trump. And we already see these familiar sticky bindings, which are often used on the eve of some "color revolution". They are supposedly harmless, consisting of nothing but infantile images of people's bright faith in street democracy. And then a very attractive word appears — "revolution", a word put into a very harmless context, surely, nothing to be afraid of. It's cool, progressive and even stylish. CNN introduces the word "revolution" to the public through fashion. The title was "How to dress for a revolution". Is this a normal approach? It was about the rose hats that are being used as the symbol of female protest against Trump. But the article begins with a description of a mass rally by males at the University of California, Berkeley, where radicals, wearing identical black jackets, hoods, and black masks, broke windows and threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the police. This was done to disrupt the upcoming speech that a journalist from a publication which supports Trump was going to give at the University. And disrupt it they did. Imagine, just how little tolerance American liberals have for the freedom of speech. In Berkeley, bloody clashes continued over the weekend. They furiously attacked Trump’s supporters. They hit them and kicked them until they bled. They used pepper gas. In total, hundreds of people participated in the fights. Pure bitterness. For his part, Trump tirelessly deals with the maliciously false press. "Fake news media knowingly doesn't tell the truth. A great danger to our country. The failing New York Times has become a joke. Likewise CNN. Sad!" Meanwhile, any contact by Trump’s people with the Russians is an opportunity for those preparing the revolution to go ahead and add fuel to the fire. The new attorney general, Jeff Sessions, as turns out, met with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak last year. There was nothing criminal, a routine diplomatic practice, but, apparently, Kislyak is not the ambassador anymore, but a "recruiter", and Sessions is a real "Russian agent". What is this if not Neo-McCarthyism? Meanwhile, President Trump fires back on Twitter. "The same Russian Ambassador that met Jeff Sessions visited the Obama White House 22 times, and 4 times last year alone. The first meeting Jeff Sessions had with the Russian Ambassador was set up by the Obama Administration..." As the next shot, Trump publishes a photo of the Senate Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer, sitting next to Vladimir Putin at a reception. "We should start an immediate investigation into Senator Schumer and his ties to Russia and Putin. A total hypocrite!" Meanwhile, Hollywood performs miracles of tolerance. Thus, the highest award of the American Film Academy, the Oscar for Best Picture, was given to the movie "Moonlight", the main character of which is a black man, son of a prostitute and drug addict, who was always bullied as a child, but, as he grew older, he increasingly felt his nontraditional sexual orientation and eventually turned into a muscular gay, a gangster with a gold grill. His soul is, however, soft and vulnerable. To have a complete set in this collection of tolerance, the main character would still need to be infected with AIDS and have one or two limbs cut off. But even without this addition to the script by American screenwriters, the script as-is was enough for the overextend and boring film to be called "the best". It looks like political compensation for last year's Oscars, which was considered too "white". Now, there is a defiant "back to black". The large number of black nominees, actors, writers, and directors was for Hollywood like a nostalgic echo of Barack Obama and an attempt to once again hurt Trump. I want to say thank you to President Trump. Remember, last year, it seemed that the Oscar was a racist award? All this became unimportant thanks to him. By the way, boorish jokes against Trump could be heard from the stage throughout the entire ceremony. Trump, are you awake? Why don't you react to us on Twitter? "We’re more than two hours into the show and Donald Trump hasn’t tweeted at us once. I'm starting to get worried about him". Noticing Meryl Streep among the audience, the host called her nothing less than overrated. These word were said about her by Trump. The joke, repeated twice, still seemed funny to the audience. A prize for the best foreign language film was given, as if on purpose, to an Iranian movie, which wasn't the strongest contender, but it seems that it was done with an intent for the Iranian crew to have an opportunity to walkout in protest, simply not arriving at the ceremony. That's exactly what was announced. I'm sorry that I'm not with you tonight. I am absent because I want to express respect to the people of my country and representatives of the six countries, which were affected by the law banning entry into the US, in spite of all universal principles. It was a protest against Trump's immigration executive order. In general, everything went without a hitch. The ceremony itself was the longest and the most overextend of the last decade, and the ratings were the lowest. The Oscar-winning film "Moonlight" has been in Russian movie theaters since February 16. The seats are empty. In the first ten days in theaters, only 11,384 tickets for "Moonlight" were sold throughout Russia. Pretty weak. It is not reported about how many viewers were actually able to watch the entire film all the way to the end.
