The Ansat Helicopter Will Be Able to Fly Under Any Conditions

Russian Helicopters signed a contract to supply 60 helicopters with the State Transport Leasing Company. This became known at the International Exhibition, which opened today in Krasnogorsk. At the GTLK exhibition, the first of six medical Ansat helicopters was delivered. Alexey Kazannikov reporting. Applause to the colleague please. The symbolic key from the Ansat helicopter is just the beginning of a long road for Russian light aviation. Disaster medicine on such machines can become many more times efficient, and most importantly: more mobile. They are the first in the country to test domestically made modern equipment in the Volgograd region. Today, the first helicopter of the medical version will be delivered as part of the medical evacuation program. This year we have to deliver 6 Ansat, 23 MI-8, and Mi-17 helicopters in medical versions, those that are very much needed, and that will save lives. By looking at Ansat, we can say that we are actively developing the program, the helicopter is very successful. Such a helicopter will cost the customer 220 million rubles. This is the domestic price. At the same time, the cost of operation, including fuel and wear and tear, is exponentially lower than that of foreign counterparts. Ansat helicopters are ready to operate in any Russian environments, even the most difficult. The program for helicopters, it now exists, we have created it, it works. Its essence is that we combine the financial possibilities of the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Industry of the Russian Federation, we provide a financial model and a financial product, which regional aviation companies can afford. Ansat is the first small class Russian helicopter equipped with medical equipment. It only needs a helipad to take off. This vehicle will be able to land almost anywhere, in the city, and outside it. But despite the rather modest size, the frame without the tail is about 7 meters, here full-fledged medical equipment is installed, which EMERCOM rescuers use on the bulky Mi-8. That is, if a patient's heart stops, he can be helped and revived right in the air. It really is, the medical aircraft number 1. And these are not all the charms of the new Ansat. Small size, small weight, but high speed traits. In just 1 hour the aircraft can be changed to passenger, transport, or medical configuration. In terms of flight performance, the helicopter has turned out to be quite comfortable for both pilots and passengers, and allows for quite safe flights, being a two-engine machine. Allows flights related to the provision of medical services, transportation of VIP passengers, or the fulfillment of transportation tasks. The only direct competitor to Ansat is in the next pavilion. Developed by the the French company Airbus Eurocopter. Thomas Zeman from the sales department talks about new avionics and the helicopter's potential: Digital avionics are installed here, including the famous autopilot for Eurocopter helicopters. But the French sophistication, other things being equal to the Russian vehicles, according to Ansat developers, will cost 10-15% more. Another celebration of import substitution was the debut of a new helicopter Ka-62. But for now only a test vehicle. The successful 15-minute test-flight in Primorye was reported directly to the exhibition from the Arsenyevsky factory. This year, the international exhibition HeliRussia-2017 is in its tenths anniversary. On 12,000 sq. meters there are 22 helicopters, and a countless number of quadrocopters. Representatives from 50 countries have come here especially. These are owners of helicopter companies and buyers, who, for now, are examining the flight technology.
